It is fantastic that a small town like Nerja has a vivid cultural house, Centro Cultural de Villa. It offers an interesting repertoire of music, dance, theater and cinema. Just one weekend of May there was first a high-class chamber orchestra from Colonia, the next evening we listened to spirited choral music and the next evening some cool jazz with a touch of flamenco by local artists.
When we come to Nerja we always check the program of the Cultural House. Our favorites are the local flamenco groups and singers, because they always give their best and fill the house with enthusiasm, and of course the music is good when it comes from the heart.
